Venture for joint manufacturing of any suitable product in this segment. CEPL’s R&D is supported by integral in-house scientist of world renown in ceramic technology. R&D is the essence part of the company since long before inception of CEPL in the year 1996. There is a great scope for special product development and manufacturing existing products at very low cost in our state-of-art modern factory in India yet without compromising on quality. CEPL sold entire product to the corporate customer both at government and private level. Major customers are National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), NALCO and other corporate company of repute in India. CEPL have marketing venture with Larsen & Tubro India to market thermal ceramic products in India. CEPL have also under speedy process for a manufacturing vendor tie-up with NTPC-ALSTOM in India. In the meantime, CEPL has been merging with M/s. CERATECH INDIA LIMITED (CIL) after evaluation of its tangible and non-tangible assets resources. Further to the existing infrastructure CIL proposes additional investment and capacities as follows to be implemented in 12 calendar months. CIL has been allotted Bauxite mines of 1586 ha in the famous Eastern-Ghat of India for manufacturing of primary Aluminum Oxide (AL2O3) by Bayer’s Process for manufacturing Alumina Chemicals. CERATECH INDIA LIMITED (CIL) is setting up a project for the manufacture of technologically advanced ALUMINA CERAMIC & REFRACTORIES in the state of ORISSA (India), known for its rich mineral deposits. The plant will be commissioned with an annual capacity of: Intermediates : 18600 TPA Advance Ceramic : 11900 TPA It is envisaged to be located near Rourkela (Orissa) India with a capital outlay of USD 25.5 million and USD 1.5 million for up to date R&D and QC. The location of the project is ideal as it offers proximity to raw material sources, potential market and offers a conductive atmosphere in Eastern India providing major location advantage.
