Description : He started Cooper Engineering at Satara in 1922, which had the distinction of making India’s first Diesel Engine and Iron Ploughs. Other achievements in industry made with the able assistance from his son Mr. Nariman D. Cooper were:
1) Obtaining a Meehanite Licence for India, Burma and Sri Lanka.
2) Collaborating with Alfred Herbert Ltd. for Machine Tools.
3) Developing an Indigenous Petrol Engine for the Morris 8 cars in the 1930's |
