Tablets (India) Limited (TIL) is the Pharmaceutical Division of the Jhaver Group, a South India based industrial conglomerate, established in 1894, which has diversified business interests such as Agro-chemicals, Pesticides, Zip fasteners, Protective garments, Software, etc. and the group’s annual turnover is about USD 200 million.
TIL is a leader in India in the niche’ segments of Parenteral & Enteral nutrition, Probiotic and herbal based pharmaceutical formulations with an annual turnover of about USD 50 million. TIL has strategic technical collaborations with Roussel Morishita Pharmaceutical, Ajinomoto, Kotobuki Pharmaceutical, Toa Pharmaceutical all from Japan, F. Hoffman-la-Roche, Chr. Hansen, Biopole, BioGaia all from Europe and Novozymes Biologicals Inc. from USA, in the fields of Amino Acids, Specialized Probiotics, Life saving Injectables, Immunity building Nutritionals, Water and Soil Probiotics, etc.
TIL has established its leadership role in therapeutic segments: Metabolic disorders, Gastrointestinal ailments, Gynecological conditions, Post surgical management, Respiratory ailments, etc.
In India TIL’s 600 strong Marketing Field Force meets over 150, 000 Medical Doctors each month in every branch of specialty. Their prescriptions are serviced by over 100, 000 drug stores through a network of 1400 stockists. Recently TIL has also ventured into Animal Health Care to cater to the Aquaculture market.
