We have been doing research in fundamental physics. As a part of research, we have to produce precursors we choose in gaseous form for further studies. Once we get gaseous anions or cations, we will do spectroscopy of those anions or cations using an Nd-YAG laser(fundamental and harmonic wavelengths).
