Special Cables was incorporated as a private limited company in the year 1983 to cater to the need of industry and institutions for the supply of all types of Special Cables viz. Telephone Cables, Co-axial Cables, Screened Instrumentation Cables, Flexible Cables, Radio-frequency Cables, Compensating and Thermocouple Cables, Rubber Cables etc. We even met the requirement of our customers by importing cables for very high temperature applications as well as supplied PIJF Cables of 1200 pairs in the eighties. Subsequently, for last 15 years the company expanded its Range of Products by adding all other standard PVC & XLPE insulated Cables to its fold and have manufactured and supplied complete range of Power Cables in Single Core upto 1200 sq.mm. & Multi-Core upto 4 Core x 400 sq.mm. as well as Control Cables upto 61 Core x 2.5 sq.mm. Single order of the value of Rs.90 million have been executed without delay to the entire satisfaction of our valued Customer. Special Cable Industries is holding BIS licenses for IS:694 & IS:1554 Pt(I) and installed capacity of Rs. 400 million per annum. It has complete Plant - Machinery & Testing Equipment to manufacture upto 630 sq.mm. of Single Core Cable, upto 3.5 Core x 400 sq.mm. of Multi core Power Cable, upto 61 Core of 1.5/2.5 sq.mm. Control Cables in PVC/FR/FRLS insulating materials as well as AAC/AAAC & ACSR Conductors. The unit comprises of 3 no. working halls with working area of 20000 sq. ft. and open area of 5000 sq.ft. Special Cables (P) Ltd. has a well equipped modern plant at Mohan Co-operative Industrial Estate, Badarpur, New Delhi – adjoining Delhi/Faridabad border to manufacture even import substitution cables in addition to L.T. PVC/XLPE Cables, FRLS/Fire Survival Cables, Telephone Cables armoured/unarmoured, Power/Energy Cables, Control Cables, Screened Instrumentation Cables, Co-axial Cables, Signal/Data Cables, Compensating Cables, Railway Signaling Cables, Indoor Wiring and Flexible Cables as well as Conductors & Aerial Bunched Cables etc. We are pleased to mention that our plants are accredited with ISO:9001:2000 Certification.
