Greyish white or light-yellow powder, granular with slightly odour and nonpoisonous, Specific gravity :1.31-1.34,
Melting point:over 96℃.Soluble in benzene,
methylbenzene, chloroform, carbon　disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, methylene chloride,
acetone and ethylacetate;not easily soluble in ethyl alcohol;insoluble in water , dilute acid , dilute alkali and gasoline.
Application:
CBS(CZ) is an accelerator with high activity and has greatly delayed action, high anti-scorching quality, processing safety and short cure time.Its activity can be reinforced by thiuram and dithiocarbamate type alkaline accelerators.Mainly used in manufacture of tires, rubber shoes, rubber tube, cable and other technical rubber goods.
