Rod Mill

Operating principle
A rod mill consists of a horizontal cylindrical shell, provided with renewable wearing liners and grinding medium-steel rods. When the shell rotates, the steel rods begin rolling, after a while, they will be taken to a certain height and drop down under the influence of gravity and centrifugal force. In this process, the rolling and dropping rods have a linear contact with the materials, and the materials will be crushed and ground. The larger particles will be ground first and the smaller ones second, so the particle size is uniform and only little powder is left.
