Prepackaged Cast Iron Anode consists of high silicon cast iron anode, coke, vent-pipe and outer steel pipe. The anode is fixed in the center of steel pipe, annulus filled and tamped with carbonous coke backfill.
It has the advantage of low consumption and grounding resistance, saves a lot of time when installing the anode in the field and ensures the quality of the installation.
In seawater or fresh water, we suggest using high silicon cast iron alloy containing of chromium or chromium molybdenum to resist the corrosion of chlorines.
