White or off-white crystalline granule or powder with a cool sweet taste that is not easy to disappear. It's about 250-350 times sweeter than cane sugar. The lowest sweet density that can be felt is 0.002%. There is a little aftertaste when the concentration is too high. Its melting point is 196-198 centigrade. It is heat stable and acid/alkali stable (PH3-9). For example, if we add it into soft drink of PH3.0 for 30 days in room temperature, there is no change at all. The solubility in water is about 0.12%. It is quite easy to dissolve in ethanol.
