Flowtech oval gear type positive displacement meter are intended for general in line volumetric consumption applications for clean liquid. The measuring element consists of two oval wheels, driven by the liquid. Each revolution of the oval wheels displaces a precisely known volume of liquid through the meter, from inlet to outlet. The number of revolutions therefore directly proportional to the measured volume. transmission gearing transmits the revolutions of the oval wheels to a mechanical register which counts the flow in volumetric units (Liters, cubic meters, and gallons etc.)
line sizes 25 mm to 100 mm (1inch to 4inch) and are suitable for up to 40 Kg/Cm2 pressure and 180 o C temp., viscosity up to 100000 cP, accuracy : +/- 0.1 to +/- 0.3 % of actual flow.
