1. D3 is a kind of high-carbon, high-chromium steel type ledeburite.
2. It has good hardenability and wear resistance.

Application
D3/Cr12 is a kind of steel with excellent wear-resisting performance. Mainly used in long-life punching die, blanking die, drawing die, press rolling die etc. It is also used for making various scissors, crushing cutters.

Heat Treatment condition
Quench: 950-980°c oil cooling HRC≥60
Backfire: relieving stress, stable structure 180-200°c two hours HRC60-62;relieving stress, lower hardenss 320-350°c two hours HRC57-58
