Dorel has been based in the Netherlands since 45 years under the brands such as Maxi-Cosi, a successful company in the production of children's strollers and children's safety car seats in the Netherlands. For this brand I am looking for a reliable manufacturer for seat covers and fibrefill, and stitchers who could sew the product together. Car seats and home furnishing (seat cushions) are not very different from Maxi-Cosi seats, due to the fact that they use similar fabrics, padding and fillings. There are some specifications of the filling and fabrics. The filling has to be: Polyester fibre 200 grams/m2 color: tricot white FR Polyester fibre 160 grams/m2 color: tricot white FR Polyester fibre 120 grams/m2 color: tricot white FR Polyester fibre 200 grams/m2 soft BS5852 Polyester polyfiber 160 Polyurethane foam 8 mm, color : tricot white The fabrics has to be knitted and/ or woven: Polyester Cotton Blended cotton and polyester It is also important for the filling that it meets the Fire retardant (FR) and ECE44 (european FR norm). The foam also has to meet (FR) and (ECE44) and EN71-2 ( no heavy metals). Inside the cover seats the fabrics has to be laminated with cheap white knitted fabrics, so that it will be easy to put the covers on the plastic shelffs. This is all the information I have about the specifications of the fabrics and filling. From 19 October till 19 November I will be in India.
