Description : WLL - Wireless in Local Loop is a facility that has been given to fixed operators, to deploy a Wireless Technology, whether GSM or CDMA, in the Local Loop to provide fixed connectivity (Fixed Wireless Access) to the Subscribers in areas where laying of underground cables may be either expensive or disruptive or an impossible task. This connection from the Subscribers' premises to the Service Providers Point of Presence (POP) is called the Local Loop. This Local Loop is described as the "Last Mile" of a Fixed Phone Service. |
