Shaanxi Hengtong Intelligent Machine Co. Ltd is an independent High-tech company, (a sub—company of the Jiaoda Kunji Group Co.) which is supported technically by the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology XJTU. Its registered capital is RMB 27, 960, 000. Now the company has over 70 employees, 6 possess doctoral degrees. Their specialties range from mechanical engineering to material science, laser technology, computer, network and etc. The main business of the company is focusing on manufacturing, distribution and service of the Rapid Prototype (RP) machines, Rapid Tooling (RT) machines and Reverse Engineering (RE) machines. One of the RP machines won the State Second Award for Scientific and Technological Progress in 2000. Since the first domestic laser RP machine (LPS 600) was developed and sold in 1997, the company has already developed 7 models and over 10 specifications of RP & RT equipments, such as gaseous and solid Laser RP machines, UV RP machine, Vacuum Molding machine and 9 kinds of photosensitive resin for RP machines, which has sold over 150 RP & RT equipments at home and abroad.
