IFC has 26% equity stake in SSAEL. SSAEL is empanelled by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, as an Energy Services Company (ESCO). SSAEL has carried out ESCO Projects for McDonald's Restaurants, New Delhi and Hiranandani Constructions, Mumbai, under USAID's ECO Project.
