We have acquired world renown for quality and reliability as 'Group Shippers' with a major share of India's Cashew exports.
In 1997, we developed the 50 lb/25 lb flexi-pouch pack, with CO2 + N2 in partial vacuum, which is now the industry standard. This won us a National Award from the Government of India. In 1999, we introduced conveyor-sorting lines, color-sorters and metal detectors for the first time in the industry.
In 2000-2001, our grading and packing facility became one of the first to be ISO 9001 : 2000 accredited. Our Packing Center is HACCP certified. We also were the first to make shipments of big bulk (750 kg) Vacuum-packs of cashews from India, in 2001. In 2002, we set up a new facility for producing cashew products tailor-made for confectionery and food-ingredient use. We try to understand what our customers want, and do not hesitate to alter our processes to suit their requirements.
We are the first in our industry to implement an ERP package across our multiple processing units and packing centers in 2005, with our Inventory and Production modules going live.
