The Delhi Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation Ltd.(DSFDC) was established in 1983 to provide financial assistance for economic development of scheduled caste people of Delhi. Subsequently, it was nominated as channelising agency for providing financial assistance to OBCs and STs also. Recently, the Corporation was designated channelising agency not only for financing of projects for Safai Karamcharis but also for Minorities, Other backward classes and Physically Handicapped persons. Therefore the name of the Corporation has been changed to "DELHI SCHEDULED CASTE, SCHEDULED TRIBES, MINORITIES, OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES AND PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED FINANCE AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD. The main sources of the fund of the Corporation are Govt. of India/ Govt. of NCT of Delhi and other National level organizations. As on date the authorized share capital of the corporation is Rs.100 crores.
