From a very humble beginning as a Timber merchant , dealing in Rosewood & Teakwood , he established himself as one of the leading businessman in furniture manufacturing .He started a furniture showroom in Thiruvananthapuram in the year 1950 and later at Ernakulam in 1976.He solicited his presence by being one of the best in the field of furniture manufacturing.

The company started its operations in Chevoor - a beautiful village in Trichur District , in the state of Kerala - Which is recognized as the nerve center of furniture manufacturing in Kerala State . The place is accredited with more than 200 cottage industries engaged in the business alike. Rising from this cluster of similar manufacturers was difficult. This was achieved only through quality consciousness and cordial customer relations.
