Founded in 1977, Manuel Wood Crafts today produces hand carved furniture, doors and antique reproductions of the highest quality, using the best available Teak, Mahogany and Rose Wood. The extraordinary ability of our skilled artists can be seen in each one of our fine masterpieces.

We have our own lumber yard, an in-house saw mill, 2 Ascu Hickson Seasoning plants, One desiccant dehumidifier type wood dryer, a fully equipped workshop with the latest wood working machinery from Italy and Taiwan for executing carpentry jobs and a fully mechanized dust proof Conveyorized polishing unit.



The entire storage area of our company is dehumidified and maintained at an optimum relative humidity of 35% as per USDA standards. These facilities enable us to execute any order within the stipulated delivery time ensuring the highest standards of quality. Our Carpenters and Carving artists are well experienced to fabricate superb furniture and doors with an excellent finish.

We can also manufacture any item as per the requirements of the customer according to the drawings or photos given to us. Hand carving of all individual pieces are checked for symmetry , depth and richness of curve / aesthetics.



For your information we may add that we have received the coveted ISO 9001- 2000 certificate and the International Quality Net Certificate IQ-NET Certificate from KEMA , Netherlands for the manufacture and design of furniture and doors .We are the first Indian Company to get this international quality certificate in the field of hand carved wood working and furniture.

Manuel Wood Crafts uses only the best quality tropical hardwoods, like MALABAR TEAK, ROSEWOOD ,MAHOGANY, INDIAN WALNUT, AMERICAN BLACK WALNUT , BEECH , OAK , CHERRY , HARD MAPLE , RED CEDAR AND BURMA TEAK properly seasoned TO 6 - 8 % MC in our WOOD DRYING Kilns, to make them equally withstand extreme cold as well as heat. The treatment of sawn wood sizes in the kilns reduce the moisture content to an optimum level of 6 - 8 %, which enables it to withstand both hot and cold climates.



Our own timber yard, in - house saw mill and seasoning plants at Cochin, at over 46,000 sq. ft., being one of the largest in the region, allow us to maintain world class quality.



Our 10,000 sq. ft. show room in Cochin, spread over two floors, is one of the largest in India. Each one of the fine furniture shown in our online gallery is exhibited at our showroom in Cochin spread over 10,000 sq feet. In addition to the above showroom , we have our own showrooms in Bangalore and Miami, FL.
