Description : We are one of the leading Automobiles and Tractor Ancillary Industries engaged in the manufacture of Precision Components for various manufacturers of Tractors and Automobiles. Our Group of Companies has been catering to the needs of premier manufacturers of Tractors and Automobiles for more than Two Decades.
Manufacturing process Forging
The forgings are done to exacting specifications.
Forged blanks are isothermally annealed at closely controlled temperature to obtain uniform dimensions after heat treatment.
Even the grain flow in forged blanks conform to the specified standards.
The forgings are then precision machined by CNC gear generators with high dimensional accuracy.
Metallurgical
Heat Treatment
Uniform case hardening is done at controlled atmospheric temperature and press quenched to avoid distortion.
Selective case hardening is done to impart maximum strength to the pinion to maximize wear resistance
After hardening, the crown wheel and pinions are tempered to closely-controlled temperature to remove thermal stresses.
Every heat treatment batch sample is diligently and microscopically scrutinized using sophisticated equipment to
Minimum cementite network, to avoid cracking in service.
Minimum decarburised layers, to check rapid wear on teeth.
Minimum retained austenite, to prevent distortion in operation and to stall accelerated wear.
The pinion thread is specially made on the thread grinder to ensure proper fitting;
Tooth contact of a Crown Wheel & Pinion being inspected on a Gleason machine.
This careful examination results in cases with the following characteristics.
Features Benefits
Uniform hardness Ensure high wear resistance
Adequate case depth Prevents spalling and enhances durability.
Tough core Withstands case crushing and resists impacts
