Biomass Briquetting is the process of converting low bulk density biomass into high density and energy concentrated fuel briquettes. Briquettes are good substitute of coal/wood in industrial boiler and brick kiln for thermal application. Biomass briquettes are renewable, eco-friendly, non-polluting and economical. It does not require adding any binder/chemicals so 100 % natural. Briquettes have high calorific value - 4000-4500 K. Cal/KG. Raw-material: Agro-Forestry wastes like Shells, Husks, Saw dust, etc. Briquettes are widely used for thermal application in industries for steam generation in boilers, heating purpose etc. It can replace conventional fuels at any thermal applications in industries and may eventually replace coal or wood based heat generating/producing systems.
