The ring is made from low sulphur expanded graphite without adding any fillers or binders, and compressed in precise moulding tools to the required density. Due to the high purity of the material, no special corrosion protection is required. It is normally in square shape section.
Other special V-shaped or wedge-shaped section graphite rings are also available on request. The special shaped section graphite rings are suitable for high pressure sealing applications.
