Description : bombay footwear was founded in 1957 by Vasant Pandit, a leather technologist with an MS from Lehigh University (U.S.A.).
With his family already established in the tannery business, he decided to branch out into the manufacture of footwear.
He aimed to create a product of which he and the company could be proud, and in this, he was tremendously successful.
