Our Unit in the name and style of VINBROS & CO., a firm having its registered office at NO.23, Romain Rolland Street, Pondicherry was established in the year 1942. Ever since, the company is dealing in liquor trade consisting of goods imported from France, Scotland, Jamaica, Great Britain and other countries as well as products of its own manufactured under the Government supervision.
Founded with the purpose of exporting and marketing Liquors, we have grown into an industry leader of considerable size, taking advantage of the new developments and opportunities in our country.
It is a world known fact that French people are good connoisseurs of liquors and well cultured in extending treats and banquets to dignitaries. The citizens of this territory who are very much influenced by the French culture for over a century are accustomed to high standards of living. Even then our liquors imported from other countries. This is mainly because of the adoption of the French technology in the liquor manufacture. The reputation is still maintained and the products have a good demand and appreciation in other states in India as well as in overseas countries.
Messrs. Vinbros & Co., apart from the manufacture of its own products have entered into tie-up arrangements with Messrs. Shaw Wallace & Company Ltd., Mumbai, a "Liquor Giant ", since 1992 Messrs. Jagatijit Industries Limited, Jagatjit Nagar, Punjab(North India), Allied Domecq Spirits & Wine (I) Pvt. Ltd., and UDV (International Distillers), Mumbai for blending and bottling some of their premium segment brands which have a high flow in the Indian markets.
The factory is equipped with automatic and semi-automatic machineries and the blending processes and maturation is given atmost importance. The processing capacity of the manufactory is ten lakhs bulk litres per month, or one lakh cases of finished/bottled products.
The Unit is in possession of all the required licensees issued by the State Government of Pondicherry for bottling and dealing in liquor trade and is also in unique possession of "Carry-On-Business" license issued by the Government of India, New Delhi which is not in the possession of other similar bottling licensees in this territory. The Company has also expanded the industry with much more sophisticated machineries for the additional production at a new location.
Best quality alcohol is utilized after evaluation for its high quality in all the products manufactured. The bottling of liquor is done at the strength of 42.8% v/v i.e., the Universal standard and also at reduced strengths on demand. The bottling operation is done in full perfection and liquor is untouched at any stage. The unit is also permitted by the Government to bottle liquor at different strengths as per the requirements of the Indentors/Importers and also to supply in different capacity in H.D.P food containers like 20,60,100 and 200 litre capacities.
