Description : SAIMC follows the principles of Integral Education as envisaged by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. It is a unit of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Research in Social Sciences (SAIRSS), Pondicherry. SAIRSS was created by the Society in 1985 to conduct research in the fields of social thought, human values, cultural traditions, education, psychology, health, management, arts, economics and so on. The objective is to catch the deeper sense and essence of these fields of human endeavour in order to transform the very collective life of humankind into an expression of a higher Truth and Consciousness.
SAIMC is a non-profit institution in providing quality education and transfer of relevant skills for career in mass communications since 1993 with specializations in Journalism, Audiovisual Communications, Advertising and Public Relations and Still Photography. Started in one room in the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi; today it runs from the sprawling green campus at the Delhi Branch of Sri Aurobindo Society, Adhchini in south Delhi.
