The inspiration behind the journey was derived from a visionary Mr. N. T. Kinariwala in 1959. His entrepreneurial spirit guided him in setting up a small workshop manufacturing Single Turn Wire Wound Potentiometers under the brand name PANKAJ. His work area was 10 sq. meters & asset was a never satiable yen to win.

Indian industry was in its nuptial stage & was largely depending on imports. That was the time Mr. Kinariwala rolled out his first indigenously designed & manufactured Potentiometer of global standards at local price. The concept caught up and the brand PANKAJ became synonymous to potentiometers. Thenceforth he did not look back.
