The factory and administrative office are functioning under the same premises. The company was started in the year 1977 and has been steadily growing in the manufacture of electrical luminaires, marketed under the brand name K-LITE. Ranging from tiny halogen lamps to different kinds of fluorescent light fittings, our products include Post top lanterns, Flood lights, Street lights with Mercury, Sodium and Metal Halide lamps for road lighting, industrial and other applications.

K-LITE has an exclusive range of outdoor luminaries as a standing testimony to our commitment to innovation, quality durability and proven performance. The outdoor luminaires, several of them designed for CFL are very popular and extensively used in leading hotels, amusements parks etc. K-LITE has the expertise to manufacture 'custom built' luminaires.

K-LITE is fully equipped with 'in-house' fabrication as well as 'testing facilities' and the products are tested for performance to relevant standards. Our illumination laboratory is fully equipped to international standards. Plans are afoot to implement Enterprise Resources Planning and the working systems are modified and tuned towards ISO certification.

Towards our contribution to the saving of energy, K-LITE actively associated in the extensive use of electronic ballast in fluorescent light fittings. With the advent of the 'Compact Fluorescent Lamps' and T-5 lamps in all lighting fixtures. These CFL fixture are energy efficient as also less expensive than other alternatives, resulting in saving of energy bills in a big way.

K-LITE has embarked on several special designs with 'Mirror optics' of different combinations and the 'Dark Lighters' in lighting fixtures. 'ALP' Parabolic louvres is another specialty, which, besides giving 'Glare-Free' lighting, give elegant and aesthetic appearance. Such fixtures are ideally suited for computer room application, conference halls and the like.

K-LITE entered into the export market during '91 and several of the luminaires and decorative lighting poles were exported to Russia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Vietnam and Tanzania in recent years. With the exclusive infrastructure facilities established, K-LITE is also poised for greater export during the coming years.
