It is a Government of India Recognized Export House and also registered as a 100 % Export Oriented Unit under the special scheme of the Government of India. It enjoys a Green Card Status as an exporter with the government. It exports Bauxite from the Porbandar and Okha all-weather ports situated on the west coast of Gujarat State in India. Since its establishment in the year 1981, Rawmin has exported more than two million metric tons of Bauxite to its various clients.
We are held in high regard by our clients for the timely supply of the best quality of Bauxite in any part of the world. In fact, our consignments have always been despatched with precision and has met with the required specifications of the Buyer. We undertake supply contracts on FOB and C&F terms as per the requirements of the buyers. We have efficiently managed support teams that oversee the mining operations, the beneficiation process, the quality control at various stages and the transportation of the Bauxite from the mines to the loadport for subsequent exports.

At each step, be it the minehead or the beneficiation process or the sampling at the time of the actual shipment, the Bauxite sampling is carried out by world renowned surveyors -SGS India Pvt. Ltd., an ISO company, which is retained to control the quality for each shipment by us.

In recent years, we have expanded our activities to nearby states of Maharashtra and Goa and further efforts are on to acquire large mining areas with substantial Bauxite deposits for subsequent export through the ports located close to these mining areas. For this purpose our group has floated a new company - Calbaux Mining and Exports Pvt. Ltd. which shall exclusively handle export operations from these states. The export operations are likely to be commenced during the year 2004.
