Description : Founded in 1960 by Mr. U.N. Baliga, the company started off with the manufacture of industrial, commercial and domestic type of luminaires. From a factory shed of 5000 Sq.ft., it has now moved to its own premises on a 6 acre plot with over 40, 000 Sq.ft. of manufacturing area.
In 1962, Baliga pioneered the manufacture of Explosionproof lighting equipment in India. Ever since Baliga has been constantly widening the range and today the name has become an industry benchmark for quality.
Baliga has the expertise to offer a range of related services such as advice on area classification, selection and maintenance of Ex - equipment, and lighting advisory services, together with cost calculations based on the different light sources now available in the market.

The Instrumentation Division manufactures a range of Flow Elements that have become a name to be reckoned with. Especially among the leading consultants and industries
who now consult Baliga for complicated issues on flow engineering.
Constant upgradation of technology has led to the installation of high-end workstations with latest sophisticated software. It allows validation of the Explosionproof designs by conducting "explosions on the computer" to avoid explosions at the site. Regular interaction with the clients has led to the development of an explosionproof LPG Cylinder Sealing System for which PATENT has been applied.
Baliga products are manufactured in a completely self sufficient factory in Chennai and almost all the operations are computerised. From Order processing to Costing, Production planing and Designing.
