Nevatia Steel & Alloys Pvt. Limited, a ISO-9001 accredited company and Government recognised Export House, was incorporated in the year 1988 to manufacture Stainless Steel Wires for the international market. Our plant, equipped with comprehensive and modern manufacturing technologies, is situated at Tarapur, an industrial township, amongst the biggest in India and strategically located close to the port of Mumbai. The company, promoted by Mr. S.R. Nevatia, having 40 years experience in the steel and cement industries, undertook an expansion drive in 1995, more than doubling its capacity from 1, 200 MT to 3, 000 MT per annum. Mr. Nikhil Nevatia, whole time director and an alumnus of Harvard University, USA, focussed on forward integration and as a result, diversified further into value added products like Stainless Steel Bright Bars and Fine Wires. Nevatia Steel Wires are manufactured in compliance with international standards of quality and are in accordance with customer's stringent specifications. They are made in a variety of grades in the size range of 0.10 mm to 10.00 mm diameter, having demanding applications in making round springs, screws, rivets, nails, sieves, wire mesh, fasteners, wall ties, kitchenware, filler wire, basket and trolleys, electrodes and for welding purposes. They are also used diversely in Automotive, Marine, Petrochemical, Food and Paper industries. The size range of Bright Bars varies from 2.00 mm to 10.00 mm in diameter. Over the years, our products have been exported to a large part of the international community. Major destination countries include USA, U.K., Germany, Finland, Denmark, Argentina, Turkey, Jordan, Russia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, among others. The usage of stainless steel is witnessing a steady and sustained growth worldwide with ever increasing challenges on the competitive dynamics of the world steel industry.
