Satguru Shipping Agencies was formed in 1990 as a Partnership firm providing Domestic and Intl. Freight Forwarding. Mr. R.S. Sandhu promoted the firm. In 1992, Satguru Shipping Agencies formed a JV company with Concord Freight System Ltd., NASSAU, Bahamas for operating Sea / Air Multimodal Transport Services & focusing on Domestic Forwarding & Warehousing activities. In 1996, Satguru Shipping Agencies also started providing transportation services along with warehousing. By end of 1999, the company developed a sizeable fleet of trucks, trailers, pick up LCVs, and vehicles. The salient features of Satguru Shipping Agencies diversified portfolio has been servicing various reputed industrial houses of India. Satguru Shipping Agencies was converted to a Pvt. Ltd. Company in the year 2000. Consequently, the name of the company was changed to Satguru Shipping and Transport Logistics Pvt. Ltd. It is a closely-held private limited company with equity ownership from the Sandhu family.
