Description : Neemtek Organic Products Limited was incorporated on September 22, 1983 under the name Ishwar Textiles Limited (ITL) and made its IPO in the same year. The company was originally promoted by the Shanghai family with the objective of manufacturing and trading of textiles, fabrics, silks, yarns, threads, cottons etc. It was involved in the import and export of garments. Due to the recession in the textile industry, ITL stopped the textile manufacturing activity and concentrated on trading. In the year 2001, the company amended its Objects Clause to commence priniting activities.
In 2003, Inga Management and Investment Private Limited (IMIPL), acquired 40, 000 equity shares of the company, representing 16.33% of the paid up capital of the company and further made an offer to the Public and accquired another 49, 000 equity shares of the company representing 20% of the equity, in consonance with SEBI guidelines. |
