Historically, most gases are sold as a highly compressed gas in cylinders that weighed five times more than the gas product. Molsieve proposes equipment which is basically gas generating facility at the users site, and the gas is used as and when required. This concept not only reduces the operational costs to at times by 900%, but also has added advantages of consistent purities, exclusion of external variables, reduced handling and distribution costs, etc. The concept of piping the gas directly from the generator to the point of use, and exclusively for the purpose has proved sound and technically solvable.
